Bodhlok is built by Recharge Studio, a technology company. We make software for people who practise and teach Vedic astrology, and we build it alongside working astrologers so the desk behaves the way they do.

The engines run on the Swiss Ephemeris. Every chart, dasha, transit and muhurta is computed, never looked up, and every calculation profile is yours to set.

Working astrologers correct readings in the Lab while the engine changes in front of them. Their confirmed corrections are the rules the software follows.

The Lab

How a correction becomes a rule.

An astrologer opens a chart in the Lab and says what is wrong with a reading. The engine is changed while they watch. When they confirm, the correction is written down as a rule and recorded as a replay test with the real chart.

  • Every confirmed reading is replayed through the engine before each release
  • A reading changes only when a written rule changes
  • Positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris; the ayanamsa is yours to choose
  • The consult shows the chart data it read, so you can check its work

What we believe

Software should show its working.

A prediction without the periods behind it is a mood. Bodhlok names the dasha, the transit and the rule, and lets the astrologer decide. The craft stays with the practitioner; the arithmetic, the lookups and the first draft of the words are ours.
